OUR STORY
Derived from a passion and obsession for the physics, science, art, and music that comes with the world of live audio and production, Reaves Audio was created to provide the greater Charlotte area with technical audio services and support for live events and venue system optimization. After years of working for multiple full-service event production and A/V integration companies, as well as a large multi-site church, founder, Sam Murphy set out to utilize the now 15 years of industry experience and perspective to become an independent audio services vendor. The experience gained in the A/V business as an event coordinator, production manager, technical director, mix engineer, integration technician, system engineer and technician, studio assistant, and musician ensures that Reaves Audio brings real solutions to the challenges that you face with any event or venue. Reaves Audio has secured a plethora of industry-recognized training and certifications from organizations and manufacturers such as Avixa, Shure, Audinate, Rational Acoustics, QSC, GAT3 Studios, Stageline, and Sunbelt.
